![]() ![]() He said he is the owner and founder of the company and he was concerned about my mail and about the specific complaint. It was a fellow named Tom, from Sleeve City. This morning my phone rang and I picked it up. I did say I was planning on writing to the company about the problem and yesterday (Sunday) I spent a fair amount of time composing a clear, informed, and civil e-mail to the customer service department at Sleeve City via their Contact page. I fitted a whole bunch (60-70) of the sleeves onto the jackets and reported having problems with the sleeves being too snug on gatefolds. I've had several go-rounds, on-forum and off, with this since Saturday when I took delivery of 150 of the top-of-the-line 5.0 outer sleeves. Record collectors should be aware of their tactics.Ĭlick to expand.Okay gang. Sleeve City does not seem to care that the consumer is essentially wasting their money on a flawed product that they claim is so great. the collector will use them as is, and re-order again in hopes the flaws will be corrected. When I called Sleeve City to complain, They quickly removed my post !!! It is my opinion that Sleeve City is well aware of these flaws, sending them out because they think people are desperate for sleeves. ALSO: I left a review alerting potential buyers of these flaws. To the point some of the rim perimeter is not showing. ALSO: The record label appears off centered through 312NLPS Disk Keeper Ultimate Inner`s die cut hole. I called Sleeve City and they could not explain why they were larger and said there was nothing they could do. I held them next to my Sleeve City LOGO FREE sleeves and sure enough they were larger. When the sleeves came ,I tried to like them but found they were too large. ![]() ![]() I figured I would ignore the logo they now added. I ordered both 312NLPS Disk Keeper Ultimate Inner & Diskeeper Ultimates 312NRPS because I used them in the past and liked the fact that they had NO Sleeve City LOGO on them. I have ordered from Sleeve City for the last 10 years without any complaint until now. ![]()
